Collection Agency Notice
IMPORTANT NOTICE: PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT MAJERLE MANAGEMENT, INC. (MMI), IS A LICENSED COLLECTION AGENCY (in Maryland). EMAILS SENT FROM OUR OFFICES MAY BE ATTEMPTS TO COLLECT A DEBT, AND ANY INFORMATION OBTAINED WILL BE USED FOR THAT PURPOSE.
Unless you contact this office, we will assume the debt is valid. If you dispute the debt or any portion thereof, we will investigate and resolve any discrepancies and/or provide verification to you. If we receive a written dispute, all efforts to collect the debt will cease until verification is made. MMI provides management services to condominiums, homeowners associations and landlords. These clients are the original creditor for the debt. If requested, all written disputes will be forwarded to the client or their attorney and, if requested, we will advise the client or their attorney that you wish to be contacted.
Please be advised that this request for payment constitutes neither a demand for payment of the subject debt nor a notice of personal liability to any recipient hereof who might have received a discharge of such debt in accordance with applicable bankruptcy laws or who might be subject to the automatic stay of Section 362 of the United States Bankruptcy Code.
Debt collectors may not, except under unusual circumstances, contact you before 8:00 a.m. or after 9:00 p.m. and may not harass you by using threats of violence or arrest or by using obscene language. Debt collectors may not use false or misleading statements or call you at work if they know or have reason to know that you may not receive personal calls at work. Generally, debt collectors may not discuss your debt with another person other than your attorney or spouse.
